Good morning and Happy Digital Scapbooking day! ?Digital Scrapbooking is one part of my creative side that is still new and exciting and even a year ago I wouldn't have guessed I'd be so excited to share this great day with you. ?
When Stampin' Up! first brought My Digital Studio to our product line I wasn't the demonstrator jumping up and down. ?My computer skills were not great and my biggest fear was learning "one more thing!" ?Then one day my girlfriend was sharing her beautiful digital album she made and I was amazed at the quality. ?My first thought was this book looked so thin compared to my 32 Traditional albums I have sitting on 8 shelves. ?I loved that it was compact and the journaling was beautiful. ?My 32 Traditional albums ?have journaling but there are MANY pages that don't. ?I am such a procrastinator and I always say I'll get to that tomorrow.
?Last year is when I fell head over heels for My Digital Studio. ?You may remember the album I created for my Prince while he was in Iraq. ?This album is 100% the best project I've ever made. ?It's 100 pages of our life while he was away. ?I created 100 pages in 3 weeks. ?I journaled on every page (I had to because I had to send it to the printer, LOL). ?I loved this album because I poured my heart into the journaling. ?I told the good, the bad and the ugly. ?Not only does my Prince love this book, so does my kiddos. Especially Alexis. ?
Today, I create away. ?I pushed my fear of my computer to the side and dug in. ?I learned that I can't screw it up, I can make mistakes and fix them and most of all I can keep amazing memories alive quickly with this program. ?
Tip: If My Digital Studio is new to you, start by using the pre-made templates. ?Move the embellishments and stamp brushes around to your own liking. Slowly add new embellishments and new stamps. ?Before you know it you will be creating new projects on ?your own. ?
