As Worth emergency response units arrived on scene flames were fully involved and consuming the home of Troy and Christie Walker.

Troy Walker snapped a photo (right) at 1:29 A.M. stating it was approximately two minutes after he and his family got out of the home. Walker said the left side of the doublewide home is where all of his children were sleeping.

?God is good,? Walker expressed to friends in a social media network. ?The most important things in our life ?are ok. God was most certainly with us this morning, no exaggeration when I say we barely made it out.?

Troy said this evening that it was Christie who happened to wake up around 1:20 A.M. ?She woke me up from a dead sleep and said ?I smell something?. As soon as I sat up I knew the air was thick and my eyes were stinging. We opened our bedroom door and our house was completely?engulfed?in smoke to the point we couldn?t breathe.? He said he and his wife started running to the opposite end of the house where their children were located in three?separate?bedrooms. They began calling out for their kids which?awoke?their?son who came out of his room coughing and, as Troy?described,?visible only as a?silhouette.

Christie grabbed their youngest daughter who had awoken as Troy bursts through the door of his 16-year old daughter?s room. He teared up as he explains how his family made it down the hallway and outside of the home before flames erupted.

As they were exiting the home Troy said he saw flames in the laundry room area located between his?children?s?bedrooms.???That?s where we believe the fire started. It?s where the electrical panel is.?

The family left the home in the clothes they went to bed in. Their home and belongings were a complete loss. ?I know for a fact if we had been a minute later, it would be a whole different story? We lost everything but we have everything.?

?We have been completely humbled by the overwhelming support from?friends, family and complete and total strangers that have showed up just to comfort us and to give us things that we need. It has been really amazing to experience that.?

The Walker?s are staying with family until they can make plans for their future. ?We?re still kind of dazed from it all and trying to figure stuff out,? Troy said quickly expressing optimism for the days to come. ?I know we?ll be okay because we all made it.?
